Dr Debra Lawson was initially trained as a Chiropractor in the USA. After gaining experience in several clinics throughout America she moved to Sydney and established a specialist scoliosis clinic. Debra was featured on a Current Affair for the positive work she was doing with scoliosis sufferers at the time.
Deciding to make the move to a warmer climate, Debra made the move to Cairns, Far North Queensland and set up Crackenback Chiropractic and Colonic Clinic. The introduction of Colonic Hydrotherapy to the range of services offered was a logical move based on Debra’s personal health and wellbeing beliefs.

Creator of the concept of “INTELLIGENT HEALTH”, Debra’s philosophy is to empower people to make intelligent health decisions and then to take informed action. She incorporates this in the Crackenback Clinic by providing practical information to all patients that will enable them to make their own decisions regarding their health and wellbeing.

Crackenback Chiropractic and Colonic Clinic is located in the newly refurbished “77 Woodward Street” building at Edge Hill. The clinic has specialist rooms for treating Chiropractic patients with a range of state of the art equipment to help ease pain and treat neck and back pain.
The Colonic Hydrotherapy rooms are completely private with access to toilets and shower facilities. These facilities are easily on par with any of the best Colonic facilities around the world.
